Hi, I’m Gabrielle, Owner & Principal Consultant of GH Coastal Bookkeeping & Consulting LLC.
With over 20 years of professional experience spanning fashion, sales, training, property management, and bookkeeping, I’ve built a strong foundation in organization, operations, customer service, and working closely with clients, teams, and business owners. Throughout my career, I’ve naturally looked for ways to improve processes, create efficiencies, and make day-to-day operations run more smoothly.
I’m a QuickBooks Online Level 1 and Level 2 Certified ProAdvisor, with experience reviewing financial records, identifying discrepancies, reconciling accounts, and cleaning up or adjusting ledgers that have become disorganized or inaccurate. I enjoy bringing structure and clarity to the financial side of a business so owners have cleaner records and a better understanding of where things stand.
I started GH Coastal Bookkeeping & Consulting to bring my bookkeeping, operational, and consulting experience together and help small business owners stay organized, understand their numbers, and make informed business decisions. I provide reliable bookkeeping and business consulting with a personalized approach, because every business operates a little differently and there isn’t a one-size-fits-all solution.
Whether that means getting the books organized, improving a process, or simply having someone they can rely on, my goal is to be a trusted partner and resource for my clients.
Originally from the East Coast, I’ve called San Diego home since May 2022. When I’m not working, I enjoy sourdough baking, ocean-view drives along the 101, beach walks, hiking Torrey Pines, exploring the North County food scene, and chasing sunsets.

Do I need to already use QuickBooks?
No. If you’re already using QuickBooks, I can work within your existing setup. If you’re not, we can talk through what makes the most sense for your business and your current needs.
What is catch-up bookkeeping?
Catch-up bookkeeping is for businesses that have fallen behind on recording or reconciling transactions. I can help bring your records current, organize past activity, and make sure your books are in a better position for tax preparation and ongoing financial management.
What is cleanup bookkeeping?
Cleanup bookkeeping is for books that are already entered but may be disorganized, inaccurate, duplicated, miscategorized, or unreconciled. I review the records, identify and correct issues, and help restore accuracy and organization so you can move forward with greater confidence in your books.
Can you help if my business and personal expenses are mixed together?
Business and personal expenses should be kept separate. If they’ve been mixed, I can help sort through the transactions, identify business-related expenses, and get the records organized. For ongoing bookkeeping, I can also help you establish a cleaner system with dedicated business accounts where appropriate.
Do you work with small businesses only?
My primary focus is working with small businesses and independent business owners who need reliable bookkeeping, better organization, and practical business support. If you’re unsure whether your business is a good fit, I’m always happy to discuss your needs during a consultation.
Do you offer business consulting in addition to bookkeeping?
